09 Январь 2012 The Law “On introducing amendments and addenda to the Law "On Telecommunications" adopted
On December 30, 2011 the President of Uzbekistan signed the Law "On introducing amendments and addenda to the Law" On Telecommunications ", adopted in August 1999.
The necessity for introducing amendments to the current law was announced by the head of state in the Conception of deepening democratic reforms and formation of civil society, presented in November 2010. The amendments to the Law were adopted by the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on 10 November,2011 and approved by the Senate on December 5, 2011.

In accordance with the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on November 10, 2011 № 297 Atamukhamedov Shukhrat Makhamadnazimovich is appointed the Deputy of the General Director of Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan.
