The session of the Complex of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan for education, health and social protection, information systems and telecommunications, dedicated to the results of socio-economic development in 2011 and tasks for 2012 was held.
At the meeting there were discussed the ensuring by the ministries and departments included to the Complex the priority tasks defined by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov on the socio-economic development of the country in 2011, in particular, the tasks of implementation the targets identified for 2011, implementation of the projects for projects on modernization and diversify of production , innovation and investment projects, expanding the range of domestic production, the range of export-oriented production.
There were considered the issues of the further development the work to ensuring of fulfillment the tasks outlined in the speeches of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the joint session of the Senate and the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on November 12, 2010, as well as at the meeting, dedicated to the 19th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In 2011, in the whole of the complex there were produced products and provided services for the amount 2 trillion 937 billion soums. the growth rates in comparison with the same period of 2010 is 122.4 per cent. Paid services provided to population is 1 trillion 614 billion soums (120,5 per cent). On the projects included to the investment program there has been drawn the amount of 315.5 million U.S. dollars, or the plan is executed by 214 per cent. The indicators of export forecast are 162.6 per cent.
The meeting analyzed in detail the activity of the ministries and departments included in the complex for ensuring implementation of the State program "The Year of small business and private entrepreneurship," the work for expanding on information and on line services provided through the official web site of small business and private entrepreneurship subjects.
There were considered in detail the implementation of targeted programs for construction and capital repair of children’s sports objects, swimming pools and children's music and art schools, the issues of improving the efficiency of use of sports facilities, the further improvement the provision of professional colleges and academic lyceums by literature and textbooks, organization of passing the students 3-rd course of professional colleges the work experience in real working place, strengthening interaction between educational institutions, enterprises and organizations in this direction, improving the spiritual and educational work.
At the meeting also there were considered the issues of the current state of Information and communication technologies in public agencies and economic management bodies, local Khokimiyats, the current state of private medicine in the health system and its long-term objectives, the further improve of the preparation and increase of qualification of pedagogical staff.
At the meeting there were identified the additional measures on strictly implementation by the ministries and departments included into the structure of the Complex the priority tasks outlined by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the appropriate decisions there were accepted.
