In May of this year, the Electromagnetic Compatibility Service of the Navoi region held a round table on the topic of the successful implementation of reforms in the field of information and communication technologies, promising projects aimed at developing telecommunication systems and information technologies, as well as the opportunities being created for turning Uzbekistan into an IT hub.
Network engineer of the 2nd category of service - A. Narziev - provided detailed information and gave explanations about the activities of the IT park in Navoi, the requirements for obtaining the status of a resident of the IT park, as well as the types of activities permitted for residents.
Also he informed about the allocation of subsidies within the framework of the “IT talents” project, in accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 86 “On measures to support the activities of training qualified specialists in the export of IT services” adopted on February 12, 2024. He emphasized that the “IT talents” program is a project aimed at stimulating the development and expansion of the activities of non-governmental educational organizations that train highly qualified specialists for companies exporting IT services that are residents of the IT park.
At the end of the round table, which was held in the format of discussions, employees received an idea of all the issues that interested them.
