The state anthem is a sacred symbol reflecting the identity of each nation, its historical memory, national pride, and the value of an independent state. The State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan is also such a lofty symbol carrying deep meaning and spirituality, and holds a special place in the hearts of our people as a solid symbol of state independence.

In connection with this memorable date, on December 9 of this year, a round table dedicated to the Day of Adoption of the State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was organized at the Electromagnetic Compatibility Service of Kashkadarya region. The event began with a solemn performance of the State Anthem by the staff of the institution. Then, participants were presented with historical information about the anthem, the stages of its creation, and its content.
After Uzbekistan gained independence, the issue of creating state symbols became one of the priority directions of state policy. The national anthem also became an important part of this historical process. On December 10, 1992, the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted the Law "On the State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan," approving the lyrics and music of the anthem.
The author of the lyrics of the anthem is People's Poet of Uzbekistan Abdulla Oripov,
The music was composed by the famous composer Mutal Burkhanov.
Through the collaboration of these two talented creators, a lofty and poetic composition celebrating love for the Motherland was created.
The national anthem reflects the noblest aspirations of the Uzbek people. It embodies:
• love for the Motherland;
• the idea of independence;
• respect for the historical heritage and the memory of great ancestors;
• striving for peace and prosperity of the country.
The State Anthem is performed at official events, international meetings, sports competitions, as well as at ceremonies with the participation of heads of state. It serves not only as an official symbol but also as a powerful source of national pride and patriotism.

In schools, higher educational institutions, state and public organizations, respectful attitude towards the performance of the anthem contributes to the strengthening of feelings of love for the Motherland, loyalty, and responsibility. Standing while performing the anthem and the gesture of holding a hand to the chest are a sign of respect for the state symbol.
The State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan embodies the spirit of independence, historical memory, spiritual heritage of the people, and faith in a bright future. He calls on young people to be devoted to their Homeland, and reminds the older generation of their duty to the country.
During the event, participants received answers to their questions and exchanged views. The round table contributed to expanding knowledge about the national anthem and strengthening respect for national symbols.
